Cant Uninstall IIS on Server 2012 R2
Consider the following scenario:
- You have a computer that runs Windows 8.1 or Windows Server 2012 R2.
- You have update KB2919355 and Microsoft Internet Information Services (IIS) installed on the computer.
- You try to uninstall IIS.
In this scenario, the uninstallation fails. Additionally, IIS is rolled back and may not function correctly. To resolve this issue, install the update that is described in this article before uninstalling IIS.
This update is available from Windows Update.

The following files are available for download from the Microsoft Download Center:

|All supported x64-based versions of Windows Server 2012 R2|
This is a well know issue that Microsoft has documented, so after you apply this new update you should be able to fully uninstall IIS or the application sever.
